Overview Manchester United

Manchester United are the most successful Premier League club having won the title 11 times. It all began in 1993 when manager Sir Alex Ferguson ended a 26-year wait to lift the Premier League crown.

The signing of Eric Cantona for £1.2m from Leeds United proved a masterstroke as the Frenchman was instrumental in the title victory, along with the likes of Gary Pallister, Denis Irwin, Ryan Giggs and Paul Ince.

United retained the trophy in the following campaign and romped to further titles in 1994, 1996, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2003. More silverware was added to the Red Devils' burgeoning trophy cabinet with FA Cup success in 1994, 1996, 1999 and 2004, plus League Cup victories in 1992 and 2006.

Perhaps the most memorable time in the club's history was the treble-winning season of 1999 when they added the European Champions League trophy to the league title and FA Cup.

Chelsea briefly broke their league dominance with title wins in 2005 and 2006. But in the 2006/07 season, the Red Devils roared back to regain the Barclays Premiership.

They went one better in 2007/08, enjoying their most successful campaign since winning the treble. They saw off the challenge of Chelsea and Arsenal to win an exciting Barclays Premier League title race and defeated the Blues on penalties in the Champions League final after a 1-1 draw between the two sides in Moscow.

In 2008/09, United made it a hat-trick of titles, also winning the Carling Cup but narrowly missing out to Barcelona in the Champions League final.

Cristiano Ronaldo, OIH (Portuguese pronunciation: born 5 February 1985)[1] is a Portuguese footballer who plays as a winger for Spanish club Real Madrid and serves as captain of the Portuguese national team. Ronaldo currently holds the distinction of being the most expensive player in football history after having transferred to Real Madrid from Manchester United in a deal worth £80 million (€94m, US$132m). His contract with Real Madrid is believed to have made him the highest-paid football player in the world.[2]

Ronaldo began his career as a youth player for Andorinha, where he played for two years, then moved to Nacional. In 1997, he made a move to Portuguese giants Sporting Clube de Portugal. Ronaldo's precocious talent caught the attention of Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson and he signed the 18-year-old for £12.24 million in 2003. The following season, Ronaldo won his first club honour, the FA Cup, and reached the UEFA Euro 2004 final with Portugal, in which tournament he scored his first international goal.

In 2008, Ronaldo won his first UEFA Champions League title, and was named player of the tournament. He was named the FIFPro World Player of the Year[3] and the FIFA World Player of the Year, in addition to becoming Manchester United's first Ballon d'Or winner in 40 years.[4]

Three-time Ballon d'Or winner Johan Cruyff said in an interview on 2 April 2008, "Ronaldo is better than George Best and Denis Law, who were two brilliant and great players in the history of United."[5]

The Motivation Proclamation - Good Charlotte

** Bring lyrics to your music phone with Wattpad Reader! **

Spend your lazy, endless crazy days inside my head, you're so selfish you're not the only one that thinks he's dead. I'm paid to smile, now im on trial for what you think i said

Bridge: Cause i never said that everything would be ok, and i never said that we would live to see another day

Chorus: Motivate me, I wanna get myself out of this bed, Captivate me, i want good thoughts inside of my head when i fall down would you come around and pick me right up off the ground

I'm un-artistic, unrealistic, you say im selfish and absurd, you try to change me you try to save you say im gonna learn im so blind im out of time you're so unkind sometimes, i never lied, i never lied, i never lied i never lied... Bridge:

Chorus:

Cause everything it'll be ok you know we're gonna live to see another day yeah...yeah...Motivate me...yea, motivate me...yea

3. JUSTIFICATIONS
• The site is very critical to providing coverage under VNL roll-out plan.
• VNL RF & access planning insist that there is a coverage hole within that vicinity which must be covered to prevent drop calls which might affect our patronage.
• Site vicinity is very populated and congested!
• Payment has been made by VNL for a new lease period.
• LIKUSASA was initially issued the ITP for this site but have expressed disinterest in construction of the site.
• Challenges subsist in getting sites around these environs.

4. Civil Implementation invited bids from three (3) Civil Contractors; ERICSSON, INTERKEL & SERVETEK after comprehensive TSS was conducted with all 3 contractors on site.

All 3 Contractors have submitted their quotations in this regard and the hard copies are available for the perusal of related stakeholders.

LIKUSASA cited structural inadequacy of the building (considering VNL tower height requirement; 18m at the time) as reason for their refusal to build the site.

Antenna height has been lowered to 6m after due consideration by VNL RF & access planning and a fresh structural analysis of the buildings structural members has been conducted.

INTERKEL submitted the most competitive bid in comparison to those submitted by ERICSSON and SERVETEK.

INTERKEL is recommended for due consideration for the execution of this project for the aforementioned reasons and considering their previous experience in delivery of VNL BTS sites.
.
5. COST IMPLICATIONS
A total sum of Nineteen Million, Five Hundred and Sixty Thousand, Eight Hundred and Seventy Four Naira, Fifty Eight Kobo (N19, 560, 874.58) has been estimated as the cost of construction of the site.

Ask any person who is successful in whatever he or she is doing what motivates him/her, and very likely the answer will be "goals". Goal Setting is extremely important to motivation and success. So what motivates you? Why are you in college? If you are in college because that's what your parents want, you may find it difficult to motivate yourself. Sure, it's possible to succeed with someone else providing the motivation for you. ("If you graduate from college, I'll give you a car!" or worse "If you don't graduate from college, you won't get a car.") But motivation that comes from within really makes the difference.

Certainly, you need some intelligence, knowledge base, study skills, and time management skills, but if you don't have motivation, you won't get far. Think about this analogy. You have a car with a full tank of gas, a well-tuned engine, good set of tires, quadraphonic CD system, and a sleek, polished exterior. There it sits. This car has incredible potential. (Have you heard that before?) However, until a driver sits behind the wheel, puts the key in the ignition, and cranks it up, the car doesn't function. You guessed it; the KEY is MOTIVATION.

Interest is an important motivator for a student. So is a desire to learn. When you link these two things together, you create success. Often success in an endeavor leads to more interest and a greater desire to learn, creating an upward spiral of motivation toward a goal you have established.

So be honest with yourself. Are you genuinely interested in being in college? Have you set realistic goals for yourself? How can you develop the internal motivation that really counts? When it comes to motivation, KNOWING is not as important as DOING.
